Ingersoll Rand is seeking a skilled assembler to perform various assembly tasks, ensuring all parts fit correctly and meet quality standards. Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive progressive line assembly of parts and sub-assemblies.
• Examine connections for correct fit and fasten parts and subassemblies.
• Read, understand, and apply method sheets, assembly diagrams, and blueprints.
• Detect quality defects and unsafe conditions.
• Follow all applicable safety rules and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Read print drawings to determine dimensions, design, and materials.
• Operate power pneumatic and hand tools.
• Use measuring devices such as tape measures and levels.
• Maintain and inspect tools and equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping of the work area.
• Maintain supplies inventory and place orders for needed supplies.
• Load and unload onto conveyors and carts, and operate fork trucks and hoists.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 1+ years of experience in Blueprint Reading.
