Overview

Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Laborer, responsible for performing physical labor on construction projects and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • May be required to work at elevated heights
  • Perform tasks involving physical labor on construction projects
  • Have knowledge of tools and materials used in commercial construction
  • Operate hand and power tools of all types, including air hammers and cement mixers
  • Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, and erect scaffolding
  • Assist other craft workers
  • Work in all weather conditions and perform prolonged bending, squatting, or standing
  • Adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment

  • 1 year of commercial construction experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods
