Overview

Magellan Aerospace is a global aerospace company with over 80 years of experience, providing complex assemblies and systems solutions to aircraft and engine manufacturers, as well as defense and space agencies. The Welder position involves preparing and welding parts according to approved procedures and technical data.

Responsibilities

  • Represents ENA in a professional manner.
  • Follows policies and procedures established by Euravia North America and other relevant manuals.
  • Welds parts according to work instructions and approved technical data.
  • Carries out operations in accordance with job instructions and approved documentation.
  • Ensures completed work is stamped off or signed as instructed.
  • Uses fixtures, measuring, and gauging tools as required.
  • Ensures all tools used are calibrated and in good working order.
  • Understands blueprints, company manuals, and written and verbal instructions.
  • Follows written and verbal instructions.
  • Relates to others in a courteous manner.
  • Learns and adapts to varied work assignments.
  • Demonstrates practical and technical knowledge required for responsibilities.
  • Demonstrates proper judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Performs work with little or no supervision.
  • Produces a significant volume of work efficiently.
  • Produces results with minimal rework.
  • Accepts other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma (or equivalent) is desired.
  • Trained and qualified to weld in accordance with approved test results.
  • Experience in the setup and maintenance of weld equipment is desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical information.
