Overview

At Williams, as an Operations Technician I, II, III - Maintenance, you will perform various tasks to support pipeline operations and maintain facility equipment, contributing to the company's mission of making clean energy happen.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks to safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations.
  • Read and interpret drawings and inspect/supervise equipment.
  • Analyze data and collaborate to resolve technical or operational problems.
  • Follow company policies and apply appropriate operating and maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of site, equipment, permits, and compliance.
  • Complete reports, logs, and maintain accurate records of operations.
  • Troubleshoot, operate, and maintain natural gas processing plant equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on compressor stations and gas processing plants.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and minimum three years of experience as an operations technician or similar role.
  • Preferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree and minimum two years of multifaceted operations technician experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC skills.
  • Proficient/advanced knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate gas processing plant equipment.
  • Preferred: Experience with mechanic duties on solar gas-tired turbines/compressors.
  • Preferred: Experience with centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, air compressors, and cooling fans.
  • Preferred: Experience with engine diagnostic tools and troubleshooting.
  • Preferred: Minimum three years of experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of natural gas-fired turbines.

Additional Information

  • Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts, and holidays as needed.
  • May be required to work overtime, 10-12 hour shifts, and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays.
