Overview

Cougar USA provides innovative water control solutions for commercial buildings, focusing on reliability and efficiency. The Panel Wireman role involves assembling and wiring electrical panels while ensuring quality and adherence to production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Drill, tap, and cut holes in metal enclosures to fit electrical components.
• Layout, mount, and wire components based on wiring diagrams.
• Operate shop equipment and hand tools to assist in panel assembly and wiring tasks.
• Install labels and overlays for panel identification.
• Perform final detailing and testing of panels to meet quality standards.
• Assist with maintaining and updating the Bill of Materials (BOM) for panels.
• Prepare and package panels for shipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to improve efficiency and safety.
• Work closely with team members to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in panel layout and wiring.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet production goals.
• Ability to perform under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to manage several tasks at once.
• Effective teamwork skills.
• Prior experience as a technician or in a similar technical role is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
