Overview

The Test Technician III position at BAE Systems offers a $5K sign-on bonus and involves working on advanced electronics in the aerospace and defense industry. The role requires performing operational tests on production components and systems while utilizing various test equipment and interpreting test data.

Responsibilities

  • Perform operational tests on a variety of moderately complex production components, subassemblies, and systems.
  • Utilize data sheets, schematics, wiring diagrams, established test specifications, and standard test procedures.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in standard bench test equipment including spectrum analyzers, signal analyzers, oscilloscopes, and power meters.
  • Interpret test data and check results against specifications to determine proper functioning and test quality.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 4 years RF or Microwave testing/Electrical testing experience.
  • 2 - 4 years college/university and 4 years practical work experience preferred.
