Overview

Texas Instruments is seeking a skilled Equipment Technician for the Plasma module within RFAB on the night shift. The role involves performing maintenance, repairs, improvements, and installations of equipment while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Improve system performance to meet process requirements and reduce repetitive downs.
  • Monitor and analyze data to enhance tool performance and address tool-related issues.
  • Coordinate supplier service and repairs as necessary.
  • Prepare technical reports and summarize findings, recommending solutions to technical problems.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 2 years of semiconductor experience as a Technician or 8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule.
  • Flexible to work day or night shifts, including one weekend shift and holidays.
  • Proficiency with vacuum systems and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with RF systems and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with gas delivery systems and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with electrical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret toolset schematics.
  • Mechanical proficiency and ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Strong organizational, teamwork, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Experience with 300mm semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
