Overview

The Combo Pipe Welder position involves performing welding functions according to jobsite specifications in an industrial construction environment. The role requires a commitment to safety and adherence to the company's core values and code of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding functions per jobsite specifications.
• Support the company’s commitment to safety and core values.
• Represent the company with high moral standards.
• Work collaboratively with peers, supervision, and the QA/QC Department.
• Select equipment and plan layout and assembly of welding.
• Weld pipe of various kinds, sizes, and alloys using multiple processes.
• Weld high and low pressure pipe per specifications.
• Fit up pipe and perform grinding when required.
• Weld on structural steel and non-piping components.
• Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards.
• Perform other related duties as requested by supervision.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years in refinery maintenance, turnaround, or construction experience.
• General knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to pass Weld Test and demonstrate practical welding skills.
• Complete required safety and process management training.
• Must maintain active status in the drug testing program.
• Pass background check.
• Current certification in SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW or FCAW.
