Overview
The Level II NDT Technician will perform industrial inspections on onshore/offshore piping, pipelines, pressure vessels, and mechanical and structural components, emphasizing safety, accuracy, and detailed documentation. The role involves frequent travel to client sites and requires flexibility to work in dynamic and potentially challenging environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections using various NDT methods.
- Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for inspection tasks.
- Employ camera, video, and written documentation methods to record inspection findings.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support general inspection and maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Adhere to offshore safety protocols and participate in safety drills.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Generate inspection reports using various computer software applications.
- Participate in ongoing training and certification renewals.
- Assist in training and supervising Level I’s and other NDT trainees.
- Conduct tests with Radiographic Testing equipment.
- Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results.
- Set up and calibrate inspection equipment.
- Operate radiography in accordance with regulations and procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
