Groupe Bonduelle is a leader in ready-to-use plant-rich food, focused on making a positive impact on well-being and planet health. The Label Fabricator role is essential in supporting production teams to maintain high safety, quality, and efficiency standards in manufacturing plants.
Responsibilities
- Follow good manufacturing practices (GMPs), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), SQF, and Safety guidelines.
- Verify date, lot code, and plant code on labels/cases every time labels are changed.
- Follow and maintain HACCP, cleaning, and sanitation guidelines.
- Test run labels.
- Communicate to complete required documentation.
- Adjust equipment settings during startup and throughout the run.
- Complete product changeover tasks on the label and case applicator.
- Ensure oriented/guide is set up correctly.
- Be cross-trained and multitask in multiple positions.
- Verify correct bowl labels with QA for each order and roll changes.
- Follow daily pre-flight inspections.
- Conduct changeovers.
- Confirm correct labels are applied to product/case.
- Clean Herma applicator.
- Thread labels into equipment.
- Program information into equipment.
- Setup label applicator.
- Follow and enforce the 5S Methodology.
- Perform preventive maintenance on labeling and packaging equipment.
- Detect and correct equipment abnormalities.
- Maintain Bistro Bowl efficiency.
- Troubleshoot machines as needed.
- Verify product meets quality standards.
- Follow shutdown procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; comprehension of basic math.
- Basic computer skills and ability to multitask.
- Willingness to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24-hour plant environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb stairs numerous times a day.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- GED/High School Diploma.
