Job Description
Overview
At Relativity Space, we’re building rockets to serve today’s needs and tomorrow’s breakthroughs. The Senior Orbital Tube Weld Technician will be part of the Stage Manufacturing team, responsible for turning design into reality by building the primary structures of the Terran R vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate orbital tube welding machine and necessary purge equipment
- Prep, assemble, fit up, and tack complex fluids assemblies at elevated heights
- Verify weld quality visually and using a borescope system
- Collaborate with leadership and team members
Requirements
- 4+ years of OTW experience
- Experience with welding and tacking
- Experience with aerospace mechanical assembly
- Comfortable working in a confined space
- Ability to read engineering drawings

- This is a 1st shift position with a standard schedule of 5am-3:30pm PT, Monday through Friday
- Position structured around a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek, which may include occasional overtime
