Job Description

Overview

We’re looking for Fire Sprinkler Fitters at all levels—entry, intermediate, and skilled—to join our team. In this role, you’ll install, assemble, and test fire sprinkler piping and related components based on engineering and architectural specifications, playing a key role in protecting buildings and the people in them.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering/design, architectural, and structural blueprints
  • Plan pipe system layout, installation, and repair according to specifications
  • Select and prepare pipe, fittings, supports, hangers, and related materials
  • Cut, fit, and connect piping using threaded, soldered, brazed, and grooved methods
  • Use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Inspect, test, and verify installed systems using pressure gauges or other methods
  • Install hydraulic components such as pumps
  • Complete required reports, including time, progress, materials, subcontractor work, and other job-related documentation

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of tools, equipment, and tasks associated with pipefitting
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong communication skills with supervisors and team members
  • Safe and efficient operation of hand tools, power tools, and layout tools
  • Ability to meet all physical requirements of the position
  • Willingness to climb and work at heights (up to 200 ft) or in confined spaces
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends based on workload
  • Commitment to all safety policies and procedures
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
