Overview

The Pipefitter Foreman is a key leader on mechanical teams, responsible for overseeing all phases of piping installation with a commitment to quality. This role involves coordinating crews, planning tasks, and ensuring compliance while mentoring team members and collaborating with other trades to drive projects forward.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive onsite practical and technical direction pertaining to contract scope of work.
  • Oversee the scheduling, coordination, and supervision of all onsite crew activities.
  • Supervise and coordinate all onsite field operations of RK Mechanical, Inc. and associated sub-contractors.
  • Adhere to project schedule and orchestrate timely project completion within budgeted costs.
  • Ensure quality craftsmanship on all mechanical system installations.
  • Develop 'Master Plan' approach for project.
  • Execute, supervise and maintain CPMI.
  • Schedule daily and weekly scope of work activities.
  • Handle material, tool, and equipment requisitions.
  • Maintain proper journeyman to apprentice ratio.
  • Ensure code compliance.
  • Resolve conflicts as they arise.
  • Assist Corporate Safety Managers as requested.
  • Act as a customer satisfaction and public relations liaison.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Journeyman Plumbers License required.
  • Experience with industrial piping, welding, rigging, and system testing.
  • Ability to work in various environments including high places and confined spaces.
  • Knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs occasionally.
