Overview

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, and performing preventive maintenance on the mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems, and physical structural elements of the Arizona Mills center.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspect the facility and troubleshoot repairs to mechanical, electrical, air conditioning, and plumbing systems.
• Perform maintenance and minor repair activities on interior and exterior areas of the property.
• Operate equipment for preventive maintenance and maintain cleanliness of the property.
• Assist other departments with event setups and cart placements.
• Perform work in accordance with applicable standards and regulatory guidelines to promote safety.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance programs as assigned.
• Maintain inventory systems, records, and safety data sheets.
• Inspect air handling units and maintain logs of activities.
• Perform exterior custodial duties as needed.
• May perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical School certifications and/or training preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of building maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, plans, and schematic drawings.
• Ability to effectively present information to management and outside contacts.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions.
• Skills in painting, electrical, plumbing, and drywall.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Capability to diagnose problems on equipment.
• Knowledge of basic electrical systems and safety rules.
• Basic knowledge of fire protection hydraulic and alarm systems.
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
