Overview

Batchelor & Kimball, headquartered in Conyers, Georgia, is seeking a QAQC Specialist to support their QA/QC team in West Atlanta, GA. The company values its employees and emphasizes a collaborative work environment with high expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality record development for review and retention.
  • Maintain effective information storage systems for QA/QC documents and data.
  • Support regular compilation and reporting of quality related QA/QC data.
  • Maintain records demonstrating full traceability of changes to construction documents.
  • Input data into software programs and compile data books for final turnover to clients.
  • Work independently while demonstrating strong qualities and integrity.

Requirements

  • Strong computer application skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of field experience with ability to read and interpret mechanical, structural & isometric drawings.
  • Ability to plan and perform work activities independently.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, perform and communicate activities in both written and verbal form.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working with quality management systems involving ASME, AWS and AWWA mechanical codes.
  • Computer literacy applied to data management, collection, and reporting.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience in Quality Control activities on assigned projects at construction sites performing Welding, HVAC, Plumbing services.
  • Knowledge pertaining to welding, pressure testing, coating, and torquing.
  • Process paperwork regarding material testing/inspection and QA/QC for NDE, Insulation, Ducting services.
  • Working onsite at field locations.

Additional Information

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Aptitude to learn new systems.
  • Ability to train staff on necessary operations.
  • Certification or extensive experience as a CWI, API, AI or NDE inspector.
