Overview

The Heat Trace Installer is responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining electric heat trace systems while ensuring safety and effective communication with team members. This role requires basic electrical knowledge and the ability to work outdoors in various environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, and maintain electric heat trace systems.
  • Perform electrical calculations to support system installations.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings to guide installations effectively.
  • Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and assist with the repair of equipment and electrical faults.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chaparral Insulation Supervisor for installation coordination.
  • Document all work performed and provide progress updates to associated parties.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.

Requirements

  • Bi-Lingual required (English/Spanish).
  • Basic Electrical Knowledge Required.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience using handheld electrical meters, hand tools, and power tools effectively and safely.
