Overview

Mechanic C repairs and maintains diesel and gasoline industrial and submersible pumps while positively representing the company and maintaining good relations with customers. Rain for Rent is the leading provider of temporary liquid handling solutions, recognized for its systems engineering expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic inspections while learning company SOPs.
  • Perform engine services including oil and filter changes.
  • Properly grease pump and wheel bearings.
  • Understand safe operation of portable cordless, electric, and pneumatic tools.
  • Understand safe operation of shop stationary power tools.
  • Knowledge of pipe fittings and flanges for pump fittings.
  • Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications.
  • Receive, inspect, and stock needed products including filters and tools.
  • Read and apply information from parts diagrams and manuals.
  • Inspect, examine, and test pumps using appropriate specifications.
  • Complete paperwork and electronic documents as required.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of mechanic experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Motivated, team player, safety-oriented, and customer service oriented.
