Overview

Lawrence Equipment, Inc. is an innovator in manufacturing state-of-the-art equipment for the flatbread and snack food industries, dedicated to continuous improvement and excellence since 1976. They are seeking a skilled Tig Welder for a full-time position responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform Tig and laser welding on various metal components, preferably with a background in sanitary welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and fabricate metal structures.
• Operate plasma cutting equipment for metal preparation.
• Conduct pipe threading and stick welding as needed.
• Inspect welded joints for quality and make necessary repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong ability to assemble and build metal structures.
• Familiarity with pipe threading processes.
• Competence in laser welding.
• Proficiency in Tig welding techniques, preferably sanitary welding.
• Laser Welding: 1 year (Required).
• TIG welding: 5 years (Required).

• 1st shift Mon - Fri 6AM - 3:30PM and Saturdays as needed from 6AM - 12:30PM.
