Universal Feed & Machine is seeking experienced machine builders for permanent, full-time positions in the manufacturing of heavy-duty industrial machinery. This role offers a competitive wage and various benefits, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to advance their careers.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble prefabricated metal parts to build heavy-duty industrial machinery.
  • Move and align subassemblies and components and install major components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to ensure proper dimensions of finished products.
  • Effectively operate MIG welder, hand and power tools.
  • Complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.
  • Fit and assemble components according to assembly blueprints and manuals.
  • Analyze assembly blueprints and specifications manual to plan machine building operations.
  • Verify conformance of parts to stock list and blueprints using measuring instruments.
  • Lay out hole locations and drill and tap holes on parts for assembly.
  • Align components for assembly and fasten parts together using various tools.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years experience building heavy-duty industrial machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
  • Experience operating MIG welder, hand and power tools.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, team-oriented, and a problem solver.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic schematics is a plus.
  • Own tools, reliable transportation, and willingness to undergo drug screening.
