Overview

Lincoln Electric is a leader in industrial machinery and technology, focusing on innovative solutions for manufacturing and maintaining vital equipment. The Welder position involves working with the Fabrication Manager to ensure jobs meet specifications and tolerances.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Fabrication Manager to ensure jobs meet specifications.
  • Lift or move materials and finished products using overhead cranes/hi-lo.
  • Hammer, chip, and grind workpieces to cut, bend, prep, and/or straighten materials.
  • Lay out and examine materials for continuity to required codes/specifications.
  • Tack weld joints in accordance with WPS and personal WPQR.
  • Notify CWI for necessary pre-weld inspection and sign-off.
  • Position, align, and fit parts to form complete weldments following drawings.
  • Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions.
  • Document actions by completing production timesheets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Certificate in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent work experience.
