Overview

TEAM, Inc. is a global leader in integrated asset integrity solutions, seeking qualified Rope Access Inspectors to support field operations with a focus on non-destructive examination and advanced inspection techniques in challenging environments. The ideal candidate will be dual-certified in rope access and inspection methods, ensuring safety and technical precision in their work.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections at height using rope access techniques in accordance with SPRAT or IRATA certification standards.
• Conduct NDT and/or API inspections on pressure vessels, piping, tanks, or structural components based on certifications held.
• Assist with installation of access systems, job rig-ups, and hazard assessments at client sites.
• Accurately document findings using digital tools, inspection forms, and standardized reporting formats.
• Interface with engineers, planners, and client representatives to clarify inspection scope and communicate results.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant procedures, codes, and safety protocols.
• Participate in toolbox talks, pre-job planning, and safety audits as required.
• Maintain all rope access and inspection gear in safe, working order and track certifications.
• Assist in equipment transfers, mobilizations, and worksite setup/teardown for access operations.

Requirements

• SPRAT or IRATA Certification (Level I or II depending on role scope).
• 1–3 years of experience performing inspections in refining, petrochemical, or energy environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, inspection terminology, and field safety practices.
• Physically capable of performing rope access duties, including climbing, rigging, and extended work at height.
• Ability to travel regionally or nationally for projects.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks, TWIC, DISA, and site-specific onboarding.
• Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
• Multiple NDT Level II certifications or ASNT/PCN/CGSB equivalencies preferred.
• API 510/570/653, CWI, AMPP or other advanced certifications preferred.
• Radiation Safety Training / IRRSP or State Industrial Radiographer Card preferred.
• Familiarity with digital reporting systems or NDT data software preferred.
• Prior experience working in refineries, petrochemical plants, pipeline projects, or fabrication shops preferred.
• Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications preferred.
• Rigging certification, confined space training, or fall protection awareness credentials preferred.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in fast-paced team environments preferred.
