Overview

TEAM, Inc. is a global leader in integrated asset integrity solutions, seeking an entry-level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians in delivering nondestructive testing services. This role is crucial for developing a career in asset integrity and inspection while ensuring safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT, etc.) according to procedures.
  • Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing assignments.
  • Support radiation safety practices and secure work areas for radiographic testing.
  • Transport equipment to and from job sites, maintaining safe handling and inventory control.
  • Ensure all tools and work areas are cleaned and maintained.
  • Complete field reports, timesheets, and other documentation as directed.
  • Follow all safety rules, client site protocols, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations.
  • Perform general labor duties related to rigging, lifting, and access equipment setup.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening background check.
  • Must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
  • Willingness to travel and work in various environments.
  • Willingness and ability to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions.
  • Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
  • Previous experience in NDT, construction, or industrial environments (preferred).
  • Familiarity with basic NDT methods and terminology (preferred).
  • Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications (preferred).
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools/equipment (preferred).

  • Position is based out of a TEAM field office or client site location.
  • Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
  • Interaction with other crew employees, supervisors, and client personnel.
  • Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
  • May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.
