Overview

Datwyler is a high-tech company that focuses on high-quality, system-critical elastomer components, contributing to safety in healthcare and mobility. The Tool & Die Maker will maintain production and quality performance levels while efficiently using manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints.
  • Operate all machine shop equipment including milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders.
  • Service and repair progressive high speed stamping dies.
  • Service and repair high cavitation plastic injection molds.
  • Work unsupervised to a tolerance of .0001”.
  • Set up and troubleshoot molds and dies for stamping presses and injection machines.

Requirements

  • High School or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a machine shop role.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English.
  • Ability to communicate goals in an inspirational manner.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to learn and implement GMP, SOPs and other procedures.
