About The Opportunity

A Welder joining Pursuit Aero space will be part of a talented group of aerospace welders who specialize in GTAW (TIG) welding. The clean and air-conditioned environment combined with using up to date Miller electric machines make for a comfortable day to day experience that is built around producing high quality aerospace engine components. You will work hand in hand with sheet metal mechanics and engineers to properly fit up and weld multiple different components. Majority of the time is spent in the weld booth but will also require some time spent working with the details prior to welding or post welding.

Location: Eastford CT, Full time onsite

This is a full-time role 3:30 PM to 12PM Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

Welding on various alloys including but not limited to, Stainless, Nickle and TI. Completing Fillet and Groove welds in multiple different positions. Light sheet metal work includes fit up and correction that is directly related to welding. Working with engineers to improve processes and or development. Completing work in line with our quality system. Comfortable working in a team environment.

Required Qualifications

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis. Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

Sheet metal manufacturing experience. Aerospace specific work experience. Any welding experience Welding school or other applicable schooling

Working Conditions

Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment. Must be able to pass an eye exam. Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk. Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
