Overview

Airgas is seeking a Field Service Technician in Dallas, TX, to install and maintain cryogenic pressure vessels and associated equipment across various markets. The company values diversity and offers a comprehensive benefits package to support employees' well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain and remove cryogenic pressure vessels in the Airgas customer base.
  • Install, maintain and remove associated cryogenic equipment at Airgas and customer-owned facilities.
  • Install, maintain and remove gaseous systems including nitrogen generators and air compressors.
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks on all Cryogenic Department assets.
  • Perform emergency corrective maintenance on Airgas and customer-owned assets.
  • Conduct site surveys at prospective customer locations to determine equipment placement and sizing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One to three years of related experience or training.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move more than 60 pounds with material handling equipment.
  • Willingness to be away from home for up to 5 days at a time.
  • Ability to be on-call 24 hours a day.
  • Detail-oriented to complete paperwork and maintain customer records.
  • Must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.

Additional Information

  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with travel and overnight stays as needed.
