Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair of pump systems and associated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and perform removal, repair, and installation of pumps and related systems.
  • Conduct mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance on pumping systems.
  • Prioritize and make decisions regarding equipment repair as needed.
  • Maintain work orders and perform work area inspections.
  • Train and mentor other employees.
  • Perform advanced welding and fabrication of components.
  • Operate equipment such as trucks, bobcats, and forklifts as required.
  • Act as a Fill-in Supervisor as required.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in mechanical/maintenance crafts or a combination of education and experience.
  • Must have completed academic and practical competencies required.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to apply knowledge and technical skills with a 35% score on a written assessment.
  • Proficient basic welding skills.
  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Ability to communicate in English regarding job assignments and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of APP inspections.
  • Ability to prioritize repairs and possess excellent decision-making skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machine systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in multiple types of welding, fabrication, and layout.
  • Knowledge of blue stake process.
  • Ability to install bearings.
  • Demonstrate safety as a core value.
