The Tank Welder role involves welding and fitting both mild and stainless steel, performing various welding processes and repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Handle welding and fitting both mild steel and stainless steel.
  • Utilize both MIG and TIG welding techniques.
  • Order and receive parts and supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies and standards.
  • Clean, organize and maintain the work environment.
  • Wear a respirator as required.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Possess both welding and fitting skills.
  • Ability to operate an acetylene torch.
  • Read and comprehend measurements and job sheets.
  • Experience working in an industrial setting.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Welding Certificate is a plus, but not required.
