Overview

The Cylinder Processor role at Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. involves processing medical and industrial gas cylinders according to established guidelines. Responsibilities

  • Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures.
  • Conduct cylinder inspections to determine the need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling.
  • Check for cylinder quantities, styles, and products, and fill any necessary product.
  • Load and unload product from the weekly shuttle truck.
  • Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment.
  • Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment.
  • Enter quantities, styles, and products filled into the computer to justify stock inventory.
  • Complete and maintain quality control documentation as per company and governmental procedures.
  • Operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED.
  • More than one year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical background is desired.
  • Good leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
