Overview

As a Field Service Engineer II, you will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and train customers on sophisticated CNC fabrication equipment. This position offers technical challenges, travel opportunities, and the satisfaction of solving real-world manufacturing issues.

Responsibilities

  • Install and troubleshoot CNC fabrication equipment.
  • Maintain and train customers on machinery including punch presses and fiber lasers.
  • Ensure smooth operation of machines at client sites.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and machine tools.
  • Ability to adjust CNC controls and perform basic parameter changes.
  • Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, including troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a professional approach.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Effective communication skills for training and customer support.
  • Associate degree or equivalent in engineering or a related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience in machine tool maintenance or military technical training.
  • Prior experience with Fanuc CNC systems is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 85%.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Possession of or willingness to obtain a passport for international assignments.
