Overview

The Cylinder Handler position at Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. involves loading and unloading gas cylinders, maintaining inventory, and performing basic maintenance tasks. Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company focused on providing high-quality solutions and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload gas cylinders and related products onto and from route trucks and trailers.
  • Move cylinders by rolling and operating a forklift.
  • Sort empty cylinders by type and check cylinder quantities, styles, and product specifications.
  • Review customer orders and pull required items from inventory.
  • Load products onto trucks for delivery.
  • Perform basic cylinder maintenance, including painting, labeling, and cleaning the work area.
  • Assist with paperwork accompanying shipments.
  • Complete both routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments as directed.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED.
  • More than one year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical background is desired.
  • Good leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.
