Overview

We are seeking a well experienced Welder Fabricator to become an integral part of our team. The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms and needs to know how to MIG & TIG very well.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
  • Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
  • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
  • Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance

Requirements

  • Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
  • Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • 5+ years experience of being a weld fabricator

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG and TIG work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle. It lays down metal fast and is forgiving on clean material, which is why it dominates production and light fabrication work. TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
