Overview

Prime Controls, L.P. is a family-owned Systems Integration and I&C Construction firm established in 2004, dedicated to meeting clients’ industrial automation and control requirements. The Pre-Fab Associate role involves assembling control panels and components in a prefabrication shop, with the potential for a permanent position after 90 days.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble panels, wiring harnesses, conduit, and components per work orders and drawings.
  • Measure, cut, label, and mount components accurately.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Follow build instructions and quality standards; flag issues early.
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.

Requirements

  • Assembly, manufacturing, construction, or skilled-trades experience (a plus — we'll train the right person).
  • Comfort with hand and power tools and the ability to read a tape measure.
  • Ability to read basic drawings/work orders, or the willingness to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
