Overview

We are seeking an Assembler I to join our team! This role is responsible for assembling construction machines and equipment, including but not limited to mounting, drilling, grinding, altering, and aligning assemblies and subassemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Follow assembly procedures and specifications.
  • Drill, tap, or ream holes as needed.
  • Align components and secure them using bolts, screws, or rivets.
  • Install and test moving parts such as shafts, levers, or bearings to ensure proper functionality.
  • Conduct testing and analysis of completed products.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
  • Safely operate hoists, hydraulic presses, and other equipment.
  • Fuel and assist in testing the operation of completed products.
  • Handle machinery and equipment with care to ensure safe operation.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

  • At least one (1) year of hands-on mechanical experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of hydraulic systems is a plus.
  • Experience using hand tools and air-powered tools.
  • Ability to operate hoists and other lifting equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and basic math proficiency.
  • Regular and predictable attendance required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one interactions with other employees.

  • Warehouse is a non-climate-controlled environment—exposure to extreme heat and cold.
