The Welding III position involves advanced welding skills and the ability to train junior welders while contributing to innovative solutions in a supportive work culture.
Responsibilities
- Operate TIG, MIG, and Oxy Acetylene welding equipment and common shop tools.
- Train Welder I and Welder II.
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
- Troubleshoot drawing issues.
- Use measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Cut stock for complex welded assemblies and frame assemblies.
- Fabricate miscellaneous welded assemblies and simple frame assemblies.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and handle tools and equipment properly.
Requirements
- Advanced welding skills with TIG, MIG, and Oxy Acetylene equipment.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings.
- Ability to troubleshoot drawing issues.
- Experience with measuring equipment such as tape measures and calipers.
- Capability to fabricate complex welded assemblies.
