Overview

Singularity is a stealth-mode Aerospace & Defense startup in Gardena, CA, seeking a skilled Propulsion Technician to support the development, manufacturing, and handling of solid rocket motor systems. The role involves working with hazardous materials in a high-paced environment while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares materials and performs propellant mixing and solid rocket motor component assembly.
• Conducts energetics research and development for new energetic formulations.
• Responsible for requisitioning and organizing materials and processing for mixing and cleaning.
• Performs energetics duties under the direction of engineers and the team supervisor.
• Mills chemical components for full-scale propellant mixes and weighs material bins.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
• Follows and develops a preventative maintenance schedule with engineering assistance.
• Willing to work other shifts or overtime as needed.
• Able to work from elevated platforms and transport 35 lbs. repetitively.
