Overview

At Niagara, we’re looking for Team Members who want to be part of achieving our mission to provide our customers the highest quality most affordable bottled water. The Engineering Technician III will work on the production floor with plant technicians at Niagara facilities around the country, performing diagnostic visits and providing support for annual rebuilds and overhauls.

Responsibilities

• Provide aid and expertise to plant maintenance teams and internal Engineering Technicians.
• Aid in any needed repairs on production machinery.
• Identify problems and wear & tear on machine centers.
• Perform root cause analysis for corrective actions.
• Develop suggestions for parts and labor needed during annual rebuilds/overhauls.
• Work on teams of 4 with plant maintenance teams for rebuilds/overhauls.
• Prepare machine centers for repairs/rebuilds based on diagnostic visits.
• Attend machine center specific master class training.
• Assist with evaluation of Engineering Technicians skills via written assessment.
• Assist with the training of Engineering Technicians through an OJT style format.
• Suggest machine center specific training modules for Engineering Technicians.
• Assist with the development and implementation of OJT style training.

Requirements

• 4 Years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
• 4 Years of experience in the position.
• 2 Years of experience managing people/projects.
• Associate's Degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a proven record of taking initiative.
• Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information

• Position is remote with approximately 75% travel required.
