Overview

At Niagara, we’re looking for Team Members who want to be part of achieving our mission to provide our customers the highest quality most affordable bottled water. The Utilities Technician will maintain, inspect, and operate utility systems while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain compressed air systems and equipment including preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain electrical distribution and equipment including preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain process water and equipment including preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain product water and equipment including preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain filtration systems and perform filters changes as needed.
  • Perform CIP’s on storage silos, filtering equipment and supply lines.
  • Maintain pumps and piping to ensure water supply to production lines.
  • Maintain and calibrate Ozone production and monitoring equipment.
  • Maintain and calibrate mineral injection systems.
  • Maintain and operate process water, chemical injection systems, and chemical transfer equipment.
  • Assist with filler sanitizations.
  • Maintain and operate reverse osmosis equipment including CIP’s on membranes.
  • Maintain air compressors and air dryers.
  • Maintain cooling towers, chillers, heat exchangers, and pumps.
  • Contribute to overall plant safety and participate in safety investigations.

Requirements

  • 4 Years of experience in field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 4 Years of experience in position.
  • 4 Years of experience managing people/projects.
  • Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical experience.
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Associate's Degree in Chemistry or Microbiology is preferred.
