Overview

As a Welder Fabricator, you will be essential in delivering high-quality construction projects by utilizing strong metal fabrication skills and effective coordination with project teams. You will perform various welding and fabrication tasks, ensuring all work meets project specifications and quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks for structural and decorative projects.
  • Layout, cut, fit, weld, and assemble metal components.
  • Travel to construction sites to install fabricated assemblies.
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure proper fit and finish.
  • Ensure all work meets project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment.
  • Support complex fabrication assemblies and field installation sequencing.
  • Mentor other craft team members.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in fabrication and field execution.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a welder fabricator on commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Strong skills in welding (MIG/TIG/Stick), metal fabrication, layout, and installation.
  • Experience with both structural components and decorative architectural elements.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, measurements, and specifications.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to regional job sites as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail, workmanship, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
