Overview

The Structural Welder position involves following customer specifications and engineering drawings to assemble and weld components. The role requires the use of various welding processes and tools, ensuring quality and precision in the work performed.

Responsibilities

  • Follow customer specifications and engineering drawings to gather materials and weld components.
  • Set up equipment and weld parts together using MIG, gas welding, and arc welding processes.
  • Install specialized parts and components on enclosures and bases using cutting, welding, and grinding tools.
  • Examine welds for appropriate size, quality, and precision.
  • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and rewelding as needed.
  • Operate crane or other lifting equipment to move and position components.
  • Work with engineering staff to clarify information and obtain design changes.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow established safety guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as requested.
