Overview
The Welder position at Chief Industries involves performing GMAW welding processes and Carbon Arc Gouging on production materials while ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Perform GMAW welding processes and Carbon Arc Gouging on production materials.
- Prioritize safety and efficiency while adhering to training guidelines and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards and maintain required AWS certifications.
- Operate assigned equipment with knowledge of capabilities and applicable welding codes.
- Complete job-related paperwork and manage tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Must maintain required AWS certifications.
- Ability to operate welding equipment and material handling equipment.
