Overview

The NSI P2 Weld Operator is essential in the manufacturing process, performing precise welding operations to assemble and fabricate components while adhering to strict quality and safety standards. This role requires interpreting blueprints and maintaining welding equipment to ensure defect-free welds that meet production schedules and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings to understand welding requirements.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including TIG, MIG, and arc welding machines, to perform P2 level welds.
  • Inspect welds for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary to meet specifications.
  • Maintain welding equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition, following all safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve welding issues and improve processes.
  • Document welding activities and maintain accurate records of production and inspections.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards throughout the welding process.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a P2 level welder or equivalent welding certification.
  • Proven experience in welding operations, specifically with P2 level welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols accurately.
  • Strong understanding of welding safety standards and procedures.

What you'll be running
