Overview

Persona AI is developing and commercializing rugged, multi-purpose humanoid robots that perform real work. The Robotics Assembly Lead will run the floor and build robots, leading two distinct assembly cells while ensuring quality and safety in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

  • Build robots and carry a station when needed.
  • Assign and sequence work across both cells against the build schedule.
  • Perform first-piece and first-article verification and buy off finished assemblies.
  • Train, qualify, and re-qualify assemblers on stations and tooling.
  • Own work instruction accuracy and correct issues with manufacturing engineering.
  • Control matched-set and serialization discipline in both cells.
  • Own floor safety for both cells and ensure proper rigging and crane practices.
  • Report daily build status, constraints, and quality escapes to the Production Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Five or more years of hands-on mechanical assembly, machine build, or industrial maintenance.
  • Demonstrated depth in either fine-motor precision assembly or heavy precision mechanical assembly.
  • Experience directing other people's work in a supervisory role.
  • Fluency with mechanical drawings, work instructions, and precision measuring tools.
  • Judgment about when to stop work to maintain efficiency.
  • Clear communication skills and basic computer skills for records.
