Overview

The Maintenance Technician II position offers a starting pay of $28 - $31.50 per hour and involves conducting preventive maintenance and troubleshooting in a food manufacturing environment. This full-time role provides opportunities for advancement within a company known for popular retail brands such as Red Baron® and Mrs. Smith's®.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyor systems and food production machinery.
  • Perform complex mechanical repairs including shaft keying, sprocket broaching, gear head replacement, stainless steel welding, hydraulic hose fabrication, and belt maintenance.
  • Assist with equipment setup, teardown, welding, fabrication, and installation of new or modified plant machinery.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues through observation and use of precision measuring instruments.
  • Utilize SAP software to document maintenance activities and track work orders.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Ability to work different ranges of hours including full-time, overtime, or weekend shifts.
  • Basic to advanced mechanical knowledge, electrical and building skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Hours: Sunday - Tuesday 6 am - 6 pm, Wednesday 6 am - 12 pm
  • Weekly Friday pay
  • Earn up to 2 weeks paid time off your first year
