Overview

Airgas Red-D-Arc is seeking an Outside Sales Associate for the West Coast LA to NV Territory. The role involves developing rentals and sales of welding equipment and providing customer solutions while adhering to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop rentals and sales of welding equipment and power generation.
  • Follow sales leads and make presentations.
  • Prepare quotations and maintain required literature.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Perform onsite equipment demonstrations.
  • Develop long-term supply relationships through contracts.
  • Meet or exceed rental and sales goals.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings and trade shows.
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for sales leads.
  • Maintain accurate submission of sales call reports and expenses.
  • Provide customer follow-up.
  • Provide back-up coverage at the branch location.

Requirements

  • Post secondary education equivalent to a Diploma in Business Management or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • 2 years Sales experience in industrial equipment rental or welding equipment sales is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of positioning equipment and welding applications is an asset.
