Overview

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Pump Technician in Dallas, TX, to perform field and shop repair and assembly of various pump types. The company is recognized as one of the World’s Best Employers and offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and assemble a variety of pump styles including Vertical Turbines, Submersibles, ANSI style pumps, Multistage Pumps, and Split Case pumps.
  • Break down pumps, evaluate them, and create a parts list for needed replacements.
  • Perform assembly, fabrication, minor plumbing, and testing of components.
  • Troubleshoot, remove, install, and repair various customer equipment.

Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and understand pump systems.
  • Welding experience required.
  • Basic hand tools are necessary.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Willingness to work after hours and weekends if needed.
