Overview

Komatsu is a leader in the construction and heavy equipment industry, seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician for their shop in Hatfield, Pennsylvania. This role involves maintaining and repairing various heavy equipment, offering competitive compensation and extensive training opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and repair work on heavy equipment including construction, mining, and material handling.
  • Participate in major repairs, rebuilds, or replacements of engines and other major components.
  • Utilize knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Maintain strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft products and industry software.
  • Read and write service notes clearly and accurately for assigned work orders.
  • Operate heavy equipment as required.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5 plus years of experience in the heavy equipment repair industry.
  • Experience with diagnostic and repair of heavy equipment.
  • Knowledge of diesel engines and various systems.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft products.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
