At Ross Video, you’ll be part of a team energized by innovation, building cutting-edge technology for live productions and events. The Service Technician role involves maintenance and support for Spidercam systems, requiring technical skills and a willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Carry out annual maintenance of Spidercam systems in Atlanta and abroad.
• Perform upgrades, repairs, and cable replacements.
• Manage inventory and assist in stock inventory.
• Document maintenance activities and manage the warehouse.
• Communicate with customers, partners, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Conduct mechanical and electrical checks and safety-related tests.
• Implement hardware and software upgrades and repairs.
• Perform independent error analysis and correction.
• Execute mechanical tasks such as drilling, cutting, and filing.
• Read mechanical plans and electrical schematics.

Requirements

• Technical College degree in Electrical engineering, mechatronics, or electronics.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Programming knowledge is an advantage (PLC).
• Knowledge of Beckhoff TwinCat 2,3 is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Office package and network knowledge.
• Good operating system knowledge (MS Windows).
• Knowledge of signal processing (optical, electrical).
• Very good knowledge of German and English.
• Basic knowledge of CAD technology affinity.
• Ability to work safely, accurately, and independently.
• Strong communication skills and high willingness to learn.
• Analytical thinking and stress resilience.
