Overview

Aggreko is seeking a Technician 1 Power based in Sayreville, NJ, to provide energy solutions through maintenance and repair of power equipment, ensuring customer operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the field with local travel daily in a company vehicle.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations.
  • Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, either independently or with other technicians.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of experience working on power generators equipment.
  • Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to move or lift objects typically less than 75 lbs.
  • May need to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
