Overview

A local manufacturing plant is seeking an experienced Machinist/Welder to assist in machining operations and perform repair and fabrication work on various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in decision making and provide solutions relating to machining operations.
  • Responsible for the repair and fabrication work for various types of tools and equipment.
  • Work on CNC milling machine, lathe machine, and grinder.
  • Read and properly interpret CAD diagrams for manufacture and assembly.
  • Perform aluminum and cast welding.
  • Train other employees for the task.
  • Maintain a clean workplace.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Certification(s) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work with little to no supervision.
  • Must be able to endure physical exertion and hot environment.
  • Must be able to pass drug test upon hiring.
