Overview

The position is for a granite polisher and stone fabricator/support person, seeking an experienced individual to hone and polish granite edges and faces while supporting stone fabrication operations. The role involves manual labor, equipment maintenance, and various fabrication tasks in an outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

  • Hone and polish granite edges and faces.
  • Support overflow production workflow.
  • Handle heavy stone material manually.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and washdown.
  • Manage slurry (mud) during operations.
  • Operate fork-lift and front-end loader.
  • Assist in packaging and stone handling.
  • Carry out actual fabrication tasks.

Requirements

  • Experience in honing and polishing granite.
  • Preferred experience in raw material fabrication, especially natural stone.
  • Ability to manage diverse workflows.
  • Kind and patient interaction with staff.
  • Fabrication abilities including machine management and blueprint comprehension.
